Can Rwandan students study at ADMI?
Yes. ADMI welcomes students from Rwanda and across East Africa. As EAC members, Rwandan citizens enjoy visa-free entry to Kenya. You will study at our Nairobi campus alongside students from across the region.
Do I need a visa to study at ADMI from Rwanda?
Rwandan citizens can enter Kenya visa-free under the East African Community agreement. For diploma programmes (2 years), ADMI assists with student pass applications through the Kenya Department of Immigration.
How much does it cost for Rwandan students?
Fees are the same for all students — KES 85,000 to KES 100,000 per semester for diplomas (approximately RWF 940K to RWF 1.1M). Flexible payment plans allow you to pay in 3 instalments per semester.
Is accommodation provided?
ADMI does not provide on-campus accommodation, but our admissions team helps international students find affordable housing near campus in Nairobi. Monthly rent for a shared apartment ranges from KES 15,000 to KES 30,000 (~RWF 165K to 330K).
Are ADMI qualifications recognised in Rwanda?
Yes. ADMI diplomas carry EU-accredited credits through Woolf University (ECTS system), recognised internationally. Rwanda's growing creative and tech sectors value practical, internationally accredited qualifications.
How do I travel from Kigali to ADMI?
Direct flights from Kigali International Airport to JKIA take approximately 1.5 hours. RwandAir and Kenya Airways operate daily flights. Bus services are also available via the Uganda-Kenya border (approximately 24 hours).
What qualifications do Rwandan students need?
Rwandan students are assessed on their Senior Six (S6) results or equivalent. A pass with credits in English qualifies for diploma entry. Contact admissions for specific equivalency guidance.
When are the intake dates?
ADMI has three intakes per year: January, May, and September. The next available intake is May 2026. Apply at least 6 weeks before your preferred start date.
