Brian Omolo - Course Leader

Brian Omolo

Illustrator, Artist

Brian Omolo is a Graphic Artist and Illustrator who combines hand drawn illustrations with computer-aided colour effects to create art. He attained a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design from the Academy of Graphic Technology in Kenya and earned a BA in Illustration Graphics from Coventry University in 2011. Brian has worked for various advertising agencies, such as TAC agency and On Cue Digital, as a Graphic Designer and later as an Art Director. He has exhibited his work both locally and internationally with two solo exhibitions in Nairobi, as well as group exhibitions in Kampala, Lagos, Joburg, London, and Paris. Brian has been teaching Graphic Design at ADMI since June 2016.

No portfolio is required for admission. Our curriculum is designed to help you build a professional portfolio from scratch — you'll graduate with 20+ polished pieces ready for employers.

You will master the full Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects — plus Figma for UI/UX design. These are the industry-standard tools used by agencies and studios across Kenya and globally.

Yes. Our curriculum includes UI/UX foundations in Semester 3, covering user interface design, wireframing, and prototyping in Figma. Many ADMI graphic design graduates now work as UI/UX designers at tech companies in Nairobi.

You need a minimum of KCSE C- (C minus) or equivalent qualification. Mature entry is also available for applicants with relevant work experience. We accept applications for January, May, and September intakes.

Tuition is KES 85,000 per semester, payable in three instalments: 50% at registration, 30% mid-semester, and 20% before exams. Flexible payment plans are available, and early bird discounts apply for select intakes.

Yes. ADMI is registered with TVETA Kenya, and our diploma programmes carry ECTS credits as a member college of Woolf. This means your qualification is recognised both locally and internationally.
