I Switched from Architecture to Sound Engineering – Tevin Sudi

What would make an architecture student at a Kenyan university consider a different career path? Tevin Sudi quit architecture for sound engineering and has never looked back. He convinced his mother to allow him to enrol in the Sound Engineering Diploma course at the Africa Digital Media Institute. His passion, talent, and hard work paid off. Driven by passion, talent, and hard work, Tevin was able to complete his studies and start on his internship at Portable Voices. This digital publishing and podcasting company produces and distributes African spoken entertainment and information. Portable Voices is one of ADMI’s employee partners who work with our Placement Office to secure internships for our Diploma students. This allows students to hone their technical, digital, and soft skills as they build an impressive portfolio. Tevin’s internship transitioned into a full-time job and we caught up with him to know about his progress.
