Yes. ADMI welcomes students from Tanzania and across East Africa. As EAC members, Tanzanian citizens enjoy visa-free entry to Kenya. You will study at our Nairobi campus alongside students from across the region.
Do I need a visa to study at ADMI from Tanzania?
Tanzanian citizens can enter Kenya visa-free under the East African Community agreement. For diploma programmes (2 years), ADMI assists with student pass applications through the Kenya Department of Immigration.
How much does it cost for Tanzanian students?
Fees are the same for all students — KES 85,000 to KES 100,000 per semester for diplomas (approximately TZS 1.7M to TZS 2.0M). Flexible payment plans allow you to pay in 3 instalments per semester. All fees are paid in KES.
Is accommodation provided?
ADMI does not provide on-campus accommodation, but our admissions team helps international students find affordable housing near campus in Nairobi. Monthly rent for a shared apartment ranges from KES 15,000 to KES 30,000 (~TZS 300K to 600K).
Are ADMI qualifications recognised in Tanzania?
Yes. ADMI diplomas carry EU-accredited credits through Woolf University (ECTS system), recognised internationally. Tanzania's creative and media industries value practical, internationally accredited qualifications.
How do I travel from Dar es Salaam to ADMI?
Direct flights from Julius Nyerere International Airport to JKIA take approximately 1.5 hours. Kenya Airways, Precision Air, and other carriers operate daily flights. Budget bus services are also available via the Namanga border (approximately 12 hours).
What qualifications do Tanzanian students need?
Tanzanian students are assessed on their Form 6 (ACSEE) results or Form 4 (CSEE) results with Division I-III. A pass with credits in English qualifies for diploma entry. Contact admissions for specific equivalency guidance.
When are the intake dates?
ADMI has three intakes per year: January, May, and September. The next available intake is May 2026. Apply at least 6 weeks before your preferred start date.
