Inside the Sanaa Student Exhibition 2025
At ADMI, we live for the moment, our halls transform into a buzzing gallery of possibilities, and this year’s Sanaa Student Exhibition was exactly that. Sanaa means “art,” and the name captures the heart of who we are: a community that nurtures raw talent and turns it into industry-ready skill. As we shared on LinkedIn, “Where creativity meets opportunity!” LinkedIn, and opportunity filled every corner of the ADMI campus for one sunny Saturday.
A Campus-Wide Celebration of Art Exhibitions
More than a showcase, Sanaa was a promise to the wider creative arts in the Nairobi scene that fresh talent is on the rise. We welcomed families, recruiters, alumni, and curious art lovers into pop-up galleries packed with illustration walls, interactive media pods, and student-run merch stalls. From the moment guests stepped onto the third floor of Caxton House, they were greeted by looping motion-graphics pieces, bold photography spreads, and larger-than-life storyboards, all produced in-house by our creatives.
These highlights only scratch the surface. The About Us page for Sanaa says it best: “The range of projects and quality of creative execution displayed is a testament to the training and support students receive … and to each student who strives to refine their visual style.”
Why Sanaa Matters
For many exhibitors, Sanaa is the first public test of a capstone project, an invaluable chance to pitch, demo, and network with industry partners who regularly hire straight from our showcase. As we reminded followers online, “We don’t just teach creativity - we build careers.” That career-centric spirit echoed throughout the day as mentors introduced students to visiting producers, agency leads, and tech startups scouting for fresh digital media talent.
The Energy Carries On
Encouraging remarks came from faculty mentor Brian Omolo - Award-winning Illustrator, Designer and Educator, followed by thunderous applause for the exhibiting students, whose hard work, commitment, and willingness to push themselves creatively wowed every attendee. As the lights dimmed, guests lingered, swapping contacts and promising to return for next year’s edition.
If you missed the show, catch the video highlights on our socials - and mark your calendar now. ADMI Student Exhibition will be back, bigger and brighter, turning ADMI into Nairobi’s most anticipated hub for art exhibitions, digital media, and the unstoppable spirit of young creatives.
