
Kenya to Host Alexander Morad for Game-Changing ‘AI or Die’ World Tour
Renowned digital marketing strategist and two-time TikTok Award winner Alexander Morad is bringing his AI or Die World Tour to Kenya this April. Powered by ADMI, Orion.ai, and Jitamaini Africa, the tour aims to demystify AI and equip businesses, creatives, and marketers with tools to thrive in an AI-driven future. Through captivating storytelling and real-world strategies, Morad challenges African professionals to adapt, innovate, and lead with AI. Kenya marks the second leg of his Africa-wide tour—following visits to Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and more—with open sessions scheduled at Strathmore, Daystar, and Ukombozi Library between April 16–17, 2025. This high-impact initiative will spotlight practical AI applications, productivity hacks, and creative workflows designed to reshape the future of work and marketing on the continent.

ADMI Holds Its 6th Annual Graduation Ceremony
The 6th annual ADMI Graduation Ceremony was held at Absa Bank Sports Club on 15th October 2021. Due to Covid-19 protocols, only graduating students and faculty attended in person. Parents and the rest of the ADMI community followed the graduation ceremony virtually as we streamed live on our YouTube channel.

Admi 10th Anniversary: Celebrating a Decade of Turning Passion Into Profession
The Institute celebrated a decade of training and mentoring African creatives at the ADMI 10th Anniversary Corporate Breakfast on the 25th of February 2022. In attendance was Kenya Film Commission’s CEO, Mr Timothy Odhiambo Owase, the Africa Digital Media Group Board members, employer partners, parents, faculty, alumni and student council. Blackhouse Foundation, the Heva Fund, GIZ, Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD), Cooperative Bank Foundation, MPESA Foundation Academy, and countless individual donors also joined ADMI in celebrating its milestones over the years.

KFCB Lifts Agency License Prerequisite for Kenyan Filmmakers
The Kenya Film Classification Board has lifted agency licence prerequisites for local filmmakers. A government agency established under the Films and Stage Plays Act, Cap 222, of the Laws of Kenya, KFCB oversees the creation, advertising, ownership and distribution of film and broadcast content.

Ganjisha Content Program: Empowering Kenyan Youth Through Digital Skills and Entrepreneurship
In response to Kenya’s high youth unemployment rates, the Ganjisha Content Program was established to equip young people with practical content creation skills that drive economic growth. A collaborative initiative between the Africa Digital Media Foundation (ADMF) and Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Kenya, supported by Google.org, the program aims to train 7,000 young content creators aged 18 to 30 across all 47 counties in Kenya.
